TripTidy is in open beta

July 21, 2026 · Wyndham Hudson

Yesterday Apple approved TripTidy for TestFlight. Today the doors are open: if you have an iPhone and an inbox full of travel, you can join the beta right now — no waitlist, no invitation, two taps.

What you get today

Sign in, then either connect Gmail or forward any booking email to your private TripTidy address, and your trips assemble themselves — flights, hotels, rentals, cars, trains, dinners, tickets, parking, each on a live itinerary that knows what matters right now. Flights get live status on top: delays, gate changes, and cancellations, often before the airline's own email arrives. On travel day there's a Live Activity on your lock screen, and Siri answers “where am I staying?” or reads you a confirmation code without the phone ever unlocking.

A note on the two routes in: forwarding works instantly for everyone, from any email provider. Gmail connections are switched on in small batches during the beta — a Google verification requirement for young apps, not a choice of ours — so if the connect screen turns you away, email hello@triptidy.app and we'll enable yours, usually same-day.

The deal

Everything is free during the beta — no card, no trial clock. After launch, some features will be paid; that's what funds development and support, and we'd rather say so on day one than surprise you later. Beta testers hear about pricing first, before anything changes.

In exchange, we want the thing only you have: your real inbox. Every mis-filed dinner reservation, every hotel that landed in the wrong trip, every email that should have become a booking and didn't — that's the feedback that sharpens the machine. Send it to hello@triptidy.app, or just forward the offending email itself.

The bar we're holding ourselves to

We wrote about the standard in the founding post: TripIt's scope with Flighty's soul. The beta is where that claim meets a thousand booking emails we've never seen before. Your email stays yours throughout — read-only access, nothing trains AI models, non-travel mail discarded unstored, one tap deletes everything.

Join the beta, take a trip, and tell us where we fell short. That's the whole ask.

Your trips, beautifully in order.

Two taps to takeoff — the beta is open now.
