Deleting your data

Deletion is immediate, complete, and available to every account.

In the app (fastest)

Open TripTidy → tap the account icon → Settings → Delete all my data → confirm. This permanently removes, in one step: your account, every trip and extracted booking, all connected inboxes and their stored (encrypted) access tokens, your forwarding address, and your device’s notification tokens. There is no recovery window — it takes effect immediately.

By email

No access to the app? Email privacy@triptidy.app from the address associated with your account and we’ll run the same deletion, confirming back to you when it’s done — normally within 72 hours.

Also worth doing

If you connected Gmail, you can additionally revoke TripTidy’s access on Google’s side at myaccount.google.com/permissions (deleting your account already discards our stored token). If you set up auto-forwarding rules in your email provider, remember to remove them — they’re in your mailbox settings, outside TripTidy’s reach.

What deletion does not touch

Your actual emails. TripTidy never modifies or deletes anything in your mailbox — read-only means read-only.
